Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what the Namelot Roblox Username Checker ("Service") does and does not do with information, owned by namelot. Last updated: September 13, 2026.
1. Information we do NOT collect
- We do not ask for and do not want your Roblox account, username, or password.
- We do not require registration, sign-in, or an email address.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any information.
- We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
2. Information that is processed transiently
- Usernames you check are sent to public Roblox APIs (and, when Roblox rate-limits our server, to community proxy services) solely to perform the check. They are not stored in a database by us.
- Your web relay list and webhook, if you configure them in Settings, are stored only in your browser. Relay addresses are contacted by your browser to perform checks; the webhook URL is sent only to Discord when an available-name alert is posted.
- HTTP/SOCKS proxies you add in Settings are stored in your browser and sent to our worker together with each check request, so the worker can route that check through your proxy instead of our own address. Each proxy is first tested by our worker against example.com and Roblox's sign-up API. Proxies are used for the request and are not written to any database.
- Standard request data (such as IP address) is processed transiently by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, as part of delivering the website and operating the online counter. We do not build user profiles from it.
3. Local storage on your device
The Service stores a small number of values in your browser's localStorage, none of which contain personal information:
rbc_oid- a random identifier used solely to count current visitors.rbc_proxies- the proxy-relay list you entered in Settings.rbc_webhook- the Discord webhook URL you entered in Settings.rbc_inf_state/rbc_mon_state- snapshots of a running Infinite or Monitor session (settings, counters and found names) so a run can resume after the tab reloads.
You can clear all of them at any time via your browser settings or the Clear button in Settings.
4. Online counter
The online counter works by sending this random identifier to our server every 25 seconds while the page is open. The server keeps identifiers only in short-lived memory (up to two minutes) to compute the count. To keep the counter honest, we rate-limit how many distinct identifiers a single network address can register.
5. Third-party requests your browser makes
- Roblox public APIs (to check usernames and load avatars).
- Proxy relays you add in Settings (only if you add any) and Discord's webhook API (only if you configure a webhook).
- example.com (to test the HTTP/SOCKS proxies you add) and GitHub's raw content server (when you use the Scrape proxies button).
- random.org (only when you use the random name generator).
- cdnjs (Font Awesome icons) and the image host for our logo.
Those providers receive the requests your browser sends them and handle them under their own privacy policies.
6. Background audio
After you click Enter on the splash screen, the site plays an inaudible (near-zero amplitude) audio loop. Its only purpose is to mark the tab as playing audio so browsers keep the page, and the checking modes running in it, active while it is in the background. It contains no data, no speech and no sound you can hear, and it stops when you close the tab.
7. Children
The Service is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Since we do not maintain accounts or stored personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe something needs attention, contact us via our Discord server.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
