Privacy Policy - Pinterest Checker
This policy explains what the namelot Pinterest username checker (the "Pinterest Checker") does and does not do with information. Owned by namelot.
1. Information we do NOT collect
- We do not ask for and do not want your Pinterest account, username, or password.
- We do not require registration, sign-in, or an email address.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade any information.
- We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking.
2. Information processed transiently
- Usernames you check are sent to public Pinterest pages solely to perform the check. They are not stored in a database by us.
- Your settings and integrations (web relay list, Discord webhook, Telegram bot) are stored only in your browser. The webhook URL is sent only to Discord, and the Telegram token and chat ID only to Telegram's Bot API, when an available-name alert is posted.
- Standard request data (such as IP address) is processed transiently by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, as part of delivering the website. We do not build user profiles from it.
3. Local storage on your device
The Pinterest Checker stores a small number of values in your browser's localStorage, none of which contain personal information:
rbc_platform- the checker you used last, so the site can reopen it.rbc_pin_fast/rbc_pinf_fast- your bulk and Infinite pace preferences.rbc_pinf_state- a snapshot of a running Pinterest Infinite session so it can resume if the tab reloads.rbc_drops- a local drop history (names that became available, with timestamps), recorded on this device and never sent anywhere except any alert destination you configured.
You can clear all of them at any time via your browser settings.
4. Background audio
After you click Enter on the splash screen, the site plays an inaudible (near-zero amplitude) audio loop so browsers keep the page, and any continuous checking mode running in it, active while it is in the background. It contains no data and no sound you can hear, and it stops when you close the tab.
5. Third-party requests your browser makes
- Pinterest public profile pages (to check usernames).
- Discord's webhook API and Telegram's Bot API (only if you configure alerts in Settings).
- random.org (when you use the random name generator) and cdnjs (icons).
6. Children
The Pinterest Checker is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Your rights
Since we do not maintain accounts or stored personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you believe something needs attention, contact us via our Discord server.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted with a new "Last updated" date.
